    Is stainless steel better than non-stick, or for that matter, better than hard anodized?

    Is Calphalon better than Rachael Ray?
    What about T-Fal? T-Fal is so cheap looking and priced, I’m afraid.

    I am a VERY BASIC cook, but the cookware I have now (one Club Aluminum pot from the 80s and a beat up nonstick) are embarrassing.

    Someone told me to go to Homegoods, but they don’t tell prices over the hone. I love the way Rachael’s cookware looks, but don’t want to spend a lot. I’m looking on Ebay but after final bidding the prices aren’t that much cheaper.

    I’m afraid of stainless because it sticks.
    If you’re going to tell me that “stainless is best” or “non-stick is best” or “hard anodozed is best” please tell me WHY, and not just make a blanket statement.
