What is the best way to clean stainless steal pans?
I just purchased T-Fal Elegance 10-Piece Cookware Set ( http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5751037 ) and after the first time cooking on them, the bottom is stained…Dish detergent isn’t cleaning them, and I don’t want to use a brilo pad, as this would ruin the finish. Any suggestions?
You can use a brillo or sos pad on them. I have had my stainless steel pans for over 30 years and I use an sos pad on them followed by soap and water. You could also use Bar Keepers Friend and a green scrubber. It’s like comet or ajax but milder for stainless steel. Also after boiling water for pasta use white vinegar to get the water spots out and rinse with HOT water and dry. They will stay shiny and new looking if you keep up with them.
