Does the type of pot/pan you use for cooking change flavors of food?
For years when I made spaghetti I would cook my pasta in a non stick pot and heat my sauce in a separate non stick pan and then put my pasta in a bowl and pour the sauce over it. Well I recently moved and bought all new stainless steel cookware and now it seems like my spaghetti and sauce tastes different. Could it be the new cookware? Can food taste different depending on the type of vessel you cook it in? Thanks
=^^=
In your case it’s more likely to be a slight change in the water quality – stainless steel should make no difference but of course, anything acidic would react with aluminium cookware.
